Cisco Managed Switch Cisco Routering-Switch, How They Can Be Used? For Networking Experts, Please Help?

Cisco Routering-Switch, how they can be used? for networking experts, please help? - cisco managed switch

I connected a LAN with Cisco switch, then to a Cisco router to manage network traffic, so now I can do the following: make ring route traffic on the Cisco Switch Network Dining (traffic between the nodes) and enable the external Transportation (from one node to an external source) to the connected router / at the end of the topology is? Therefore, the traffic on the router and can reduce Routerting SWITCH (ie, a decrease in traffic in the layers 2 and 3).

I'm no network expert, but I just wanted to know whether this hypothesis (1) is possible, (2) logic and (3) practice?

Can you give us some some Ring Route Cisco switches? And / or create the impression some websites where you can find more information about them?

Cisco Web site is not very helpful.

I think that basically do know, is essentially the intranet traffic have been completely separated from Internet traffic counts? Adding a Layer 3 switch to the mix may be the case, because the Cisco devices are very competent in finding the solution of the network, the shortest path ... However, if the two nodes must communicate within the network, should not talk to the router that the purpose of the topography, if the Layer 3 switch that can handle the communications.

However .... Although the substance to reduce the traffic light is not already a big difference unless you have many, many inter-connected nodes to send large amounts of traffic between them. If you have a server file-sharing for all clients have access node, this could be a good solution for that .. primarily to a decline in traffic. Rather, if an external source of your data to go anyway, there would be no advantage in my opinion.

For a good Cisco Layer 3 switch can be used .... they are aDime a dozen today. In fact, in my Navigation Network Magazine now I do not see any switch that is not displayed on level 3 at this point.

And no .. Cisco Web site is not exactly the best, if you .. of course, Cisco certification, or a registered member when opening a large number of these resources for you. Talk about lack of support.
